Work Records: Contrast one

Contrast (one)

In this lesson we had to photograph contrast around the college. This was things that showed obvious contrast in colour, texture or width. I found it quite difficult to find these around college which might have been reflected in my work as the things I photographed were a bit boring and dull.

This photo shows the contrast between the textures on the bin. One half is very smooth and the other is textured shown by the ridges. I do not really like this photograph as a bin is not an attractive object to photograph and the lines in the photo are not strait. To improve the photo I would make sure that the lines are strait.

This photo shows the contrast in the red and white  paint on the wall. In the photo the texture of the wallpaper can also be seen. I think that the separation line between the colours is quite strait but I think there is more of the white shown so to improve this I would make it equal each side.

This photo shows the contrast between the colour of the grass, mud and pavement. I dislike this picture because it is unattractive and not strait. Also there is more of the green and brown than the pavement which creates a very uneven photo.
