Walk (two)
In this lesson we once again went for a walk outside of college. This time we were still photographing autumn colours but also focusing more on the competition. I think the photos taken in this lesson were better than the last walk lesson as I knew more specifically what I would photograph.
I think this is an effective photo because the flowers have a very sharp focus and the detailed outline can be seen contrasting against the green background. The flowers also look as if they have a sort of frost glisten to them showing the autumn weather fitting with the lessons aim.
I think that this is an effective photo because the tree shows the autumn colours, the bareness of the tree and the colour of the sky in the reflection of a puddle. I think this photo shows lots of different aspects of autumn weather in one photo. The photo is also good for the competition as it literally shows reflection.
I don't really think this photo is very interesting as too many things are happening at once. There is the reflection of the puddle, the shoes and the reflection of the body and the fence. I think this then makes it difficult to know where to look or what the focus of the photo is. I think to improve this photo I would decide on a particular centre point for the photo and decide what I want to achieve by taking this photo.
